MEDICAL TECHNOLOGY
Medical technology programs develop individuals who will assist doctors in
the diagnosis and treatment of disease through the performance of medical
laboratory examinations of urine, blood, smears, and other body materials.
The program equips students with the knowledge of laboratory procedures.
Students undergo three years of fundamental medical technology education
followed by a year of internship in a hospital or laboratory clinic for
hands-on practical training.
